A little bit about me? I’m a 31 year old Aussie girl who has been calling New Zealand home for the last 10 years (seriously, where does the time go?!) and made the move from Auckland last year to live in Christchurch with a pretty rad dude who I am super proud to call my boyfriend. In the last couple of years since I started visiting the area, I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the calibre of cafe’s I’ve discovered. This is actually what lead to the somewhat crazy idea that my boyf and I came up with; to test out every single cafe in Christchurch.

I’ve always been a bit of a coffee fiend, regularly catching up with friends at cafe’s, and my obsession has only grown stronger as the years have passed. I’m by no means a coffee expert, and heck, some would argue that the fact I have milk in my coffee dispels any credibility I could have possibly gained over the years of coffee drinking, BUT I do love coffee. I’ve had good coffees, bad coffees, great coffees and some terrible ones too so I feel like I’ve had enough experience to be able to give anyone who is willing to listen my opinion on whether it was a good coffee or not.

At the beginning of 2016 I decided to get my coaching certification and start working towards living the life I had always dreamed of for myself. Part of my “Cafe Life” is the awesome fact I get to work from cafe’s with my business – and that sure does beat sitting in an office, IMHO – so I’ll also be reviewing cafe’s on their suitability as a work space, should you also be on the look out for a cute cafe to work from too. Further to my love of coffee is my obsession with gorgeous decor, so a cafe gets mad props if it looks cool.

I just want to clarify that this blog won’t just cover cafe’s in Christchurch… but also any that I stop at in my travels, that I manage to get some snaps of. Because there is coffee everywhere. And I plan to drink it always.

Thanks for stopping by, and feel free to send me a message if you have any cafe suggestions, or you just fancy saying hello!

Hugs + Coffee,
